My first watercolor portrait I painted was of my Mom. In this black & white reference photo she was 8 months pregnant with me.

She was surprised how I was able to captured the color of her dress so accurately. She always supported my art path and encouraged me to try new techniques. She was my biggest fan. Thanks Mom.
